I've just been super busy with every day life stuff that I haven't been on Deviantart in ALMOST a year.

As some of you may have known...some of you probably have seen posts from this guy but, someone is commenting on a lot of posts...no...this has been all over the internet now...
Some jerk has been claiming that Western Cosplayers shouldn't even be cosplaying because we do it terribly. According to this guys blog: antiwesterncosplayers.blogspot… , Asians are better cosplayers than Western cosplayers. 
Yes, Japanese anime characters are based on Asians and I personally think that Asian girls are super pretty but, honestly, COSPLAY IS FOR EVERYONE!!!

According to the blog, Westerners can't cosplay because:
 Western females look like Western males. 
 Westerners look "too old"
 Westerners are racist for even attempting cosplay.
 Westerners look like "their inferior cartoons" less than anime characters.
 Westerners have "deep set eyes, square face, big long nose, and a square jaw".

This jerk even claims in bold lettering: "We Asians make our Anime characters based on ourselves and not based off of you westerners"

Whoever this guy is, he's either a troll or a honest idiot!

  This is a perfect example of cosplay hate  

Here Is The Truth:
 What you look like is based on genetics and heredity not your culture.
 This guy is a liar.
  Westerners aren't being racist or attacking Asian cosplayers. 
 Not all Asians think we are racist.
 ***MOST IMPORTANTLY*** Cospay isn't based on one's height, weight, race, age, gender, skill-level. ANYONE CAN COSPLAY AS ANYTHING AND LOOK AWESOME WHILE DOING IT!

Personally, I've been cosplaying for three years now. My first cosplay was a stereotypical witch, second was a neko, third was a maid and most recently a version of Soul Eater Evans. I'm now working on some more cosplays as I type this!! Well, Westerners thank the Asians for even introducing us to cosplay and so far, we've loved it! The bully can say whatever he wants but, please, just ignore it. Anyone who is reading this can cosplay and look amazing. I've seen both Asian and Western cosplays and both races have done epic jobs cosplaying. I am a Westerner with a rounder face, smaller nose, large eyes, and fair skin. I am 5"1 and Cherokee. I LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE MAN'S DESCRIPTION!! So, my fellow Western cosplays, do not, under any circumstances stop cosplaying because of this meanie. I've seen many of you're works and they are simply beautiful. I encourage you all to cosplay more and ignore the hate. Thank you for reading this...it means a lot.

How long have you been on DeviantArt?

To be honest, I don't really know. I had an account in 7th grade that was primarily based on everything Sonic but deleted it in 8th. I've had this account for about a year, maybe more. I don't know.

What does your username mean?

Well, it's just random. Lol. This Is Halloween is my favorite Disney song and my birthday is July 22nd. I know it's not really creative but, it ended up with ThisIsHalloween0722. It could've been something like "ASpoonfulOfSugar0722" or "HakunaMatata0722" but, those sound too cute and I AM NOT cute. ^^ I'm evil.

I love to write...however, I most post traditional art or random sketches.

Not sure if this counts but, meeting X-Rainange-X would've been cool. She was my friend on my old account but, deleted hers . Well, if that doesn't count, I'd like to meet Arrowman64 because he was my first watcher that I didn't know outside of dA. Just would thank him.

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

I wouldn't say that someone on here really has because I don't talk to a lot of people on here for personal reasons. I guess the closest thing to someone impacting my life or whatever would be getting notes from photographers asking me to be a model (I don't want to really) which I guess means means people think I'm pretty??? I don't know. What am I even saying?

What are your preferred tools to create art?

Colored pencils, regular pencils, pens, etc.

What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

I guess school. You learn stuff at school and I guess I put it into art form...or I get bored out of my mind and draw at school to put it online.

What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

Hahahahaha, I guess it would be the time I was hanging out with my cousin and I got a note that was kinda weird but, it was someone offering 100 points for me to send him a selfie of myself barefoot because he thought it was cute. It ended up with me watching Shia LaBeouf's "Just Do It" motivational speech as my cousin would say the opposite of whatever Shia was saying. For example, "Don't do it! Don't let your dreams be dreams!"
